Arthroscopic Fixation with Cannulated Screw for Avulsion Fracture of the Tivial Spine in Children

|
The avulsion fracture of tibial spine is rare in children and it´s accurate diagnosis is difficult. It has many different treatment modalities and results to each type. It was lassified to three types by Meyers and McK-eever. In general, the typeⅠand typeⅡ were reported with good results in conservative treatment. But, in the typeⅡ fracture, the results were not satisfactory if it had persistant instability or converted to type Ⅲ, even were treated by surgical method. We report 2 case of avulsion fracture of tibial spine that performed with antegrade cannulted screw fixation in children.
